Naturally Nails

Bad experience after bad experience. Not sure why I kept going back as long as I did. First of all, I constantly left with cuts on my skin around my nails especially from the nail files. Often times, they saw the bleeding and would say sorry then continue to file right over the cut. They’re also very rushed. On busy days, I would notice my nail tech looking at the waiting area and visibly speeding up, resulting in a manicure I wasn’t happy with but felt bad saying so. Also, one nail tech in particular that sits at the 3rd table in from the door was constantly yanking my arm, despite it already being very close to her. Went in yesterday for a gel mani/pedi and had Kay take care of me. This was my first time going to this salon. The atmosphere was very peaceful. The shop was very clean. Kay did a great job, and was pretty quiet throughout the whole process. The shoulder and neck massage was a pleasant surprise. I wish they had a sign showing all the options available, as I really wasn't sure about them, so just went with a regular mani/pedi with gel. Kay is definitely the man to get a great job done! I am definitely not one to leave a bad review, but this really got me. I got a former dip manicure removed and asked to remove the tips and keep my natural nail length (which had gotten to be pretty long). The shapes and lengths I was left with were very inconsistent. While doing cuticle work and taking off the former dip, it was very rushed and the dremel ended up leaving multiple cuts on my fingers. I got a dark green color and the dip powder was left all over my fingers as well. I asked for an accent finger with a small tree design, and the nail tech was not able to do it. No worries, so I asked for just green dots on my accent finger instead. He used black and green, not too sure why, and it ended up looking so weird. This was my very first time at Naturally Nails. I took a chance and walked in. The kind gentleman at the front desk assured me availability for a pedicure (they were very busy!). Not five minutes later I was paired with sweet Lina. I chose the Lavender Spa Pedicure. This experience was beyond my expectations. Lina’s expertise, professionalism and kind manner was delightful. The background music was very relaxing. I felt so pampered! Thank you Naturally Nails and dear Lina. I look forward to future visits!
