First time getting box braids done and it was a great experience! Awar was so gentle on my scalp and knew exactly how I wanted my braids to look! She is an amazing stylist and she really knows hair. I will definitely be coming back to her for all my hair needs!

Awar has been my hair stylist for almost four years and she’s been incredible with every style I’ve wanted. She’s patient, answers every question thoroughly, and always has me leaving her chair feeling like a supermodel. I recommend her to everyone.

I booked a last min appointment on New Years Eve with this wonderful soul. She not only took me but took her time to start my locs. Her shop is set up nicely and stylish. I love that clock! My hair is on point and I’m a very happy to have her as my new Loctician. I am happy all the way around. I recommend her highly. I’m from Atlanta and have been looking for someone with that kind of hair stylist swagger and she definitely has it!

Listen! I’m hesitant to add this review as I don’t want for everyone to know about this hidden gem. Awar is a gift. As a native of Texas but new resident of Colorado, I was used to a certain type of service. It’s hard to find a great natural hair salon due to the many incidents of improper treatment of natural hair. This lady treated my hair like it was her own. I went to Awar after a traumatic hair experience with another lady in the Aurora area and was very scared to try someone new. I’m so glad I stepped out in faith. I will be back for sure.

Awar has established a beautiful, peaceful salon. So glad she is part of my natural hair journey. She is always pleasant to be around. I look forward to going back again.
