New Beginnings is an absolute gem! Laura gave me an amazing wash, deep condition, and detangle — she’s so warm, welcoming, and professional. My hair felt incredible afterward. And Togia - master stylist gave me a flawless me cut. You can tell she truly understands natural Black hair. The salon itself is gorgeous and luxurious, with a great atmosphere (plus a whole café!) — and it’s right in the neighborhood. Couldn’t recommend them more!

I am first time customer and really enjoyed my appointment. I booked a consultation and with the stylists recommendation we decided on a flat twist pop out style. The stylists washed, conditioned, trim and styled my hair beautifully. They use only high quality products which made my scalp and hair feel amazing and they all smell really good. I really like that the stylists tell you what they are about to do and about the products they are using. The stylists here were very professional and kind. They aim to ensure you are completely satisfied every step of the way. The salon is very clean, beautifully designed and peaceful. Upstairs there is a cafe which added a great touch to my salon visit.

Where do I begin? I absolutely love this salon — “love” is honestly an understatement. First, Ms. Pauline is the heart of the space. She carries herself with such regal elegance and truly cares about every client who walks through the door. She greets everyone personally and checks in with you like family. One time I had to leave early for another commitment, and she even called me afterward just to make sure everything was okay. She always asks about my family — especially my mom — and that level of care means a lot. Togia is hands down one of the best stylists I’ve ever come across. She truly knows hair.
