She tried to make a time change the morning of my appointment, but had to cancel. I read the reviews about other client’s experiencing cancellations but I thought I would be different as a first time client considering I received all of the confirmation emails and reminders. Do not book if you have to stick to the time that you originally scheduled. It could change.

This is my personal experience with this Hair DoctorTician (and I say that intentionally), because she is truly both a hair doctor and a master loctician. She deeply conditions and shampoos your hair with real care and knowledge. From the moment you walk in, the welcome is warm, the energy is peaceful, successful, and full of feel-good vibes. You can literally feel the difference. My fiancée has been coming here for years, and Kat and Saharaah have taken care of all of her loc needs with consistency, trust, and excellence—and we trust them completely. And let’s talk about the products they create—you won’t fully understand how good they are until you leave… but trust me, you WILL be back for more 😘🔥

What a great experience. I had a very interesting talk with my stylist, Saharah. She is very down-to-earth and even gave me tips on how to start locs from my twists if I decide to. There was a small hiccup at first because I was not made aware that you can't pay with your card, but she helped me find an ATM that was open nearby and all was well. You can pay with cash or Apple Pay - things like that. I would highly recommend her, she even is a licensed cosmetologist! My hair took about 90 minutes and it was done perfectly, she even used the cream I brought, she didn't use heat on my hair, she was gentle and didn't pull my hair -- wow wow wow. Don't second guess, make your appointment with Saharah, she will take great care of you. 🥰

I was so lucky to find this gem on Instagram. My experience was top notch from beginning to end. After making my appointment online for twists, my stylist, Saharah, who also happens to be co-owner of the salon, reached out with details of the appointment. She even took care of getting the hair! It was super nice to just show up and get the whole process done from the shampoo to oiling my scalp and the end. Did I mention they have their own product line that still has my hair feeling amazing almost a week later? No icky, flaky gels, just great quality products. Between the great conversation, top quality work, reasonable price and overall vibe, I will definitely be back!

Ms Cat is nice and personable. But I cannot go back nor recommend. Used Cantu shampoo which was disappointing. In addition, the haircut she gave me is very uneven and rigged. I ended up having to rewash and redo my hair the next day (including doing some spot cutting). It was an unfortunate, very expensive experience.
