The Nappy hutt was an amazing experience from the time I arrived till the time I left. Extremely professional & personable. Shawntel was my stylist I love how she educated me on the health my hair not just the style. I love the atmosphere as well. I felt the whole time like I was hanging out with my girlfriend & she was doing my hair. I am about to have a baby & she gave me a beautiful style I love it. I don’t have to worry about my hair for a while. Thank you Shawntel you are a lifesaver.

There are a lot of options when it comes to hairstylists, but finding one who is knowledgeable, talented, and cares about doing what's best for their customer takes can take some digging. Nappy Hut's owner and stylists will live up to every expectation you have. I am so appreciative of everyone there, especially Shawn the owner, and Chrys, her daughter who did my hair. Chrys did my micro locs in one session, despite driving down that same morning after completing another client's appointment. Even though she was tired, the quality of her work was still immaculate and she gave me some helpful insights on maintaining the health of my scalp. From the time you walk into the shop you'll feel welcomed and after speaking to a stylists you'll know you picked the right shop.

I have been a client of Nappy Hutt for over 13 years, starting from braids, crochet styles, and now locs. I started my locs almost three years ago and I am always happy with my services. The owner, Shawntel and her daughter Chrys are my favorite stylist, but the entire staff is amazing. I can't go without mentioning Jibril, who inspired me to step out of my comfortzone and introduce me to color recommendations. I love the fact this salon promotes healthy hair and is very knowledgeable about the latest hair trends and styles. I highly recommend this salon!!

I went in to get microlocs, due to me having a fresh perm, they gave me multiple options for me to choose from that would better work for my hair. I really loved the outcome. Everyone was nice and friendly and very helpful. Chris did my hair and I loved it. I will return for my retie.

I love this place! I come and get my beard oil every few months! They also do natural hairstyles which is great! My daughter loves coming here and getting her hair done.. She says they are so nice! But seriously though, the beard oil is a great buy! GET YOU SOME!! Oh..and it's a woman-owned, black-owned business!
