*Last 2 photos are not from this salon just an example of the expectations I have for a two strand twist style * Previous patron of last location in West End 1st time visitor of this new location I had an appointment at 9am for comb retwist (w/ style) & this was NOT a demo service for $85 . Though i do find the location & the atmosphere welcoming ; that is where the the positives end for me . My service was not started until 9:30am ; I know how my locs fall so I recommended to the stylist (who spoke little English) to begin retwisting my locs from the BOTTOM & completing the 2 strand as she went along . As soon as I walked in, I was digging the vibe. Everyone greeted me and they were kind. My stylist KANDREA WAS AMAZING!!! She was really polite and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Josh was really friendly as well. I really enjoyed my experience and I WILL be returning! 10/10 would recommend !!!

Been going here for a few years starting when they were located near the west end. Loving the new location as it is closer to my house. Akilah (Kiwi) has been my stylist since probably my 2nd visit and I request her everytime. She’s very personable and has a great spirit and her work is always quick but efficient (I normally just get a wash and comb retwist so I’m not in the salon all day). It’s always a welcoming environment.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND A CONSULTATION HERE. I did a consultation, and I was extremely disappointed. I thought I’d have a chance to sit down with a stylist, who would educate me on starting locs specific to my hair. They asked me to submit photos of my hair and inspo pics, but absolutely nothing was done with that information. I was greeted by a nice white male front desk staff member, who sat me in a chair at the front door while he stood in front of me and asked “so what questions do you have?” Although he was very kind and generically answered my questions, I paid $50 for 5 minutes of information that I could have found out on TikTok. I’m sure their actual work is good, but this wasn’t the experience I expected for $50.

Young inexperienced workers! Her advertising is all fluff! I will never call the people I saw working there true Loctician’s! She had a young lady in there, running around doing content, hyping up the shop doing lots of videos mostly with the people who work there however I did not see one client’s hair that was impressive! All in all, it’s just basic re-twist and basic extensions which they’re charging a arm and a leg for when you could just go somewhere and have them Crochet that shit in for $200 Or less! Better yet look it up online and do it yourself! My re-twist was one of the worst I’ve ever had! I paid my money and left. I didn’t get anything extra because I knew if you could not properly do my Re-twist I knew the style would be garbage because to be honest I didn’t see anything i
