Nails & Tan

This place is amazing. Me, my sister, her baby and friends came to this place to get our nails done and two of them got pedicures as well. One of the men was very friendly and caring. the other man who worked on my nails was quiet but professional. I could tell he was trying to do his best on my nails I requested, and he did it exactly as I needed them for the event I was headed to. To me he did amazing job. The woman who worked on the designs for my sister and friends did amazingly great as well. Even though I thought their designs were a bit complex, the lady did amazing. Having to do so many different designs on clients must be tiring, but she is a strong, creative, and hardworking women. Everyone loved the place, even the little baby. Stopped in this shop while visiting. Upon entry the lady was very rude. The man, friendly & nice. Only because I was headed to an event I would have waited for the other shop to open. NEVER! Will I spend my money in this shop again no matter what! The fact they are so rude & we're the ones funding your business kills me! The nerve..... I'm pretty sure she over charged me, I'm from Atlanta & our Best nail shops don't charge $60 for a fill in & had the nerve to say she couldn't give me a receipt because I paid cash! Thank goodness for yoga & meditation! I was bout to slap that lady. This was a great reminder stay OUT these foreign shops.

The man was really nice and did a great job with my mom. The younger lady I had was a bit rough when using the cuticle cutter on me. Made me bleed a couple of times and giggled about it. She seemed to be in a rush and kept complaining about being tired. The day after getting my nails done, they start lifting a little bit and some of the gel is on my skin. I'm pretty sure I got overcharged and didn't realize until I left and calculated it. It was a nice experience for my mom as it was her first time, but I definitely wouldn't go back unless I got the older gentleman and calculated the cost before hand..

I have been searching the last two years since moving to Hartsville, for a nail salon that is professional, provide excellent friendly service and customer care. Nails & Tan meet and surpass all of my expectations. I recommend them to everyone. Margit S
