Nails & Spa By Taffy

I was recommended by my niece. I usually drive all the way to Carmel mountain to do my nails but I'm looking for a place closer to me. I dont like the nail places in my town, this is why i drive so far to get my nails done. The lady who did my nails in this place took 90 min in total time, seems she was new. I feel bad for her but I paid for a service. I wasn't there for a free tried out. The lady filed my nails too much that she was burning me. I was not happy that all. I was so upset when I saw my nails. I didn't say to re do it, because I had a doctor's appointment. You can see the service I received below. My nice keep telling me to give them a 2nd chance. With in 3 days this happened. Not happy that all.

I’m from out of town and they took me in on very short notice. Called about an hour and a half before and they got me in!! I haven’t gotten my nails done in over six months so they had their work cut out for them as well. Lots of cleanup. Not the absolute best paint job but the quality and service was lovely. I had wonderful conversations with everyone at the salon. Good variety of gel colors and found a “rose gold” color that matched my dress perfectly. I also opted for the “Onsen” pedicure experience with a dead skin treatment, a scrub, massage, and hot stone. That was such a treat. I would come back again! :)

I took a picture in to show them what I wanted done and Brian took his time and did an awesome job replicating the picture on my nails. However, asked for square on my toes and was not at all impressed with my pedicure. Nonetheless, would recommend this place and will be back.

Great nails every single time. Call ahead for an appointment. I've never been disappointed in my nails, and I am very picky. *pink nails are 3 weeks grown out.

I was looking for a new nail place and saw that BRIAN was highly recommended in the reviews. He does great work, however he is not very friendly. I was willing to compromise as it’s so hard to find someone who is consistent with their work. Well, this time around he OVERCHARGED me and when questioned he would not budge and was RUDE. He just lost a consistent customer, all for a few bucks. He also didn’t clean up my nails after and left me with powder all over. Sad to say I thought my quest for a new nail place was over, back to searching.
