Nails 1st

I’ve gone here twice now, I had a gel mani and regular pedi the first time, the price was lower than other places but it looks like from the other reviews it depends who you get as a nail tech. Both lady nail techs have been nice and friendly, the place could use a makeover but the location is convenient and can work with the prices.

This salon is disgusting. There is a bunch of pads duct taped to the foot rest of the pedicure chairs. The paraffin wax is a community basin that they directly dip your foot into, and everyone elses. The foot basin drains were covered in pink mildew. They use the basin bag, but still take some pride in cleanliness. I got the highest level pedicure, they tout with 20 min massage. It was a 20 minute petting, there was no massaging. Sometimes the petting was one handed while the technician checked the messages on their iwatch. Then to top it off I got the worst polish job. My big toe looks 2 weeks grown out because they did not bother to paint back to the cuticle. I did get the shape I wanted and I wasn’t cut, so I guess those are wins. I’ve been going to this nail salon for a while and every time it exceeds my expectations. The nails are always beautiful and perfect without any lumps and they are always shaped exactly how I want them. The staff is excellent and I felt extremely welcomed my entire visit. Highly recommend.
