This is the first time I have to write a bad review about a nail salon. As a former nail tech for many years, I understand the job itself and never try to be a difficult client, ever. If anything I would be the easiest client that’s ever walk through your door. However, I’ve never been to a nail salon and left there feeling so upset and frustrated + my hands were completely ruined. I came in as a walk in at 1:30pm, and there was only one nail tech working, no reception. I was told by the one nail tech present to come back at 2:30, I did not make an appointment so it was no big deal. I was okay with waiting. Came back, still only one nail tech working. Was told to wait again so that they can call the boss and ask someone to come in, by 3pm the tech arrived. I requested a basic gel manicure

Renovated with new management- Nail Play is unique and high quality salon. Eleven N is highly efficient and excellent in shaping and coloring your nails exactly how you want it. They use non toxic ingredients, so there is no fragrance and your nails look pretty and healthy. They also have summer specials. I will definitely come back.

This salon destroyed my nails and refuses to take responsibility for it. I went and got a gel manicure and pedicure 2 weeks ago. Within 1 day, multiple nails not only had chipped polish, but the nail tech kept drilling my nails so much, even when I told her to stop, that every single nail chipped or cracked. These were my real nails that were very strong, almond shaped, and long. She literally drilled the nail bed off. I contacted them and no one responded for several days, and then finally I received a text back to return to repair. This repair should have been free, but they charged me again another $35. Then, 2 days later, my nails broke again down so far my nail beds are bleeding. Never mind the cheap polish is chipped on every nail. I contacted them for a refund and have received no r

Unacceptable. I got a gel manicure done here two days ago. I had to go back the next day because my thumb started peeling. The nail tech kindly fixed it. And now day two, yet another nail peeling. I have NEVER has a gel manicure like this before, in a bad way. Either they didn’t cure long enough or the UV lamp they have sucks. The nail tech was very nice but that’s about the only positive from it. Will be asking for a full refund, because this is completely unacceptable. Get a new Uv machine or cure nails longer, either way , not good.

Update: I spoke with the owner who made right by the situation and aplogized for what happened. I have since gone again with a new technician and had a much better experience. I want to start by saying I really enjoy the feel of this place, and have been there a few times. Today was different. I have never in my life had such a bad experience! The technician that worked on me was so busy on her phone the whole time, talking, texting and watching videos that she couldn't hear me asking her to STOP when she was hurting me- multiple times. She cut my toenails so short that I bled on 2 toes! I told her it hurt and she kept going. I pulled away and she thought it was funny- bc SHE COULDN'T HEAR ME OVER HER PHONE!
