Nail Vibe

I wasn't going to post a review because of how sweet the staff was despite a lackluster service. However, a week later with peeling gel nails that were disappointing to begin with, I've caved. I can't even go back to get them fixed as I live out of state. I treated my sister in law to a nail date here on Christmas Eve morning and it's now NYE and they're a peeling mess. As noted, my tech was super friendly but a few minutes into the service she cut my middle nail and it started bleeding. She was super apologetic and said it never happens but based on how sloppy my nails were with polish all over at the end (I flagged this for her and she shrugged), as well as her mention she was apprenticing - I think she was just new. These nails are 5 weeks and 2 days old—and still flawless! No chipping, no breaking. My nail tech (Nina) truly ate and left no crumbs. So happy I found my new nail salon, they’ve got a loyal client in me for sure 💅🏾✨

I sincerely never post things like this(I know everyone who says that usually complains regularly but I don’t and yes I did try to resolve with them orior to posting)…but I hope this saves someone else the headache. Very disappointing first experience at Bay Nails in Chester. I went yesterday for a Gel x manicure and less than 12 hours later every nail has split and fallen off because they were not applied by the tech correctly. Bay Nails has refused to refund me only offering to reapply them ($75 plus a $20 tip - of course I’m not asking for the tip back just the service fee of $75). I would totally understand and would be open to them reapplying if it was 1 or 2 nails however, for all 10 to split and fall off in under 12 hours is ridiculous. 5 stars While visiting the island for the day, I called my mom to ask where I should go for a manicure and pedicure—and without hesitation, she sent me to Bay Nails in Stevensville, Maryland. I’m so glad she did! From the moment I walked in, I felt genuinely welcomed. The staff was warm, professional, and incredibly attentive. The quality of both my manicure and pedicure was truly exceptional—clean, detailed, and beautifully done. It was a relaxing and refreshing experience from start to finish. Truly one of the best nail services I’ve ever had. Thank you to the lovely team at Bay Nails!
