Nail Trix & Spa Valley Shopping Centre

This place is a hidden gem. I needed an early appointment so I googled what was near by and open early. I was skeptical because there was a 3.5 star review. I simply wanted a fill-in so I gave them a try. When I arrived at 9am, the shop was open and I was immediately greeted and told to pick out my color while the young lady got ready to complete my fill-in (we walked in at the same time when they opened). My complete service took less than an hour. The young lady was quick and paid attention to detail, making sure that my shape and color was exactly what I wanted. She did a great job. The best part was the price. My last fill-in with a simple design was over $100 which is crazy! But today I paid a realistic price which I appreciated. For a fill-in and gel polish, I spent $51. I had just experienced poor customer service in two other nail salons before I got to Nail Trix. Karla gave me exactly what I asked her for, brown french tips because I had gotten a fill in from my regular nail tech the day before and she rushed my nails so now Karla will be my new nail tech! She reshaped my nails and did them so neatly!

I have been coming to nail trix for years, karla is the best manicurist and pedicurist I have ever experienced. She is always on time, loving, caring and awesome tech. She is passionate about her work and clients, she is business oriented and waste no time in treating her clients with dignity. She fashions her work with confidence and enthusiasm to make sure her clients are satisfied with their service. She responds quick and responsively to text for an appointment and she is alway accommodable as she can be. I am so grateful to have had her for so many years, she has always been the same. I’m giving 3 stars because the nail tech did a good job on my nails overall. However, I felt uncomfortable during my appointment. Several other techs came and stood over the one working on me, speaking in their native language and laughing, which made me feel uneasy and a bit out of place. Also, the gel polish took a really long time to dry, which makes me question the quality—hopefully it lasts. The experience was okay, but I’m not sure if I’d return.
