Nail Trix & Spa - Nail Salon in Sykesville

I have been going to this salon for a very long time and have always been satisfied. I had a rude nail tech today because my regular tech wasn't there. She tried to overcharge me. She was very mean about putting glitter on my nails without an extra charge. She cried about what a big cleanup mess it is. My regular nail tech that does my nails there does it 1 2 3. There is no clean up issue and she is a thief as far as I am concerned. I don't know if I will ever go back. She was yelling at me and I have never been treated like that before at this salon. I will not spend of my money where I am mistreated.

I cannot rate my experience negatively enough, if I could give this 0 stars I would. Pedicurist left calluses all over the bottom of my feet and when asked about it and told when I have received this exact same service several other times, she told me she would not do anything unless I paid more. Another nail tech came to actually paint my toes, had to be asked to fix them twice. When I asked how long they would take to dry he promised 20 minutes - over an hour later they were still wet as a simply pedicure ended up taking over 2 hours. When showing another staff member I was unsatisfied with the pedicure, instead of acknowledging anything I was saying - she proceeded to make a joke about my tattoo. When asked if I could speak with the manager - I was told he was not in and no other inform

I have given this Nail Shop approximately 12 chances because I’m new to the area. I keep going back but November 3 put the Nail in the coffin for me. I am done with them! I am done trying to get quality work done. I am a very good tipper and that still didn’t save me! I went on October 31, 2024. I returned to have it fixed November 3, 2024, and today November 7 a nail fell off. Make it make sense that I spend hundreds of dollars to have my nail fall off. 😩 Also, I use the Google translate because I recorded her conversation she had with other people in the shop while doing my nails, and she was being very rude and disrespectful in her language. This is definitely my go to place! David is such a wonderful person. Always friendly and professional. I always have David do my nails. He is very creative and has done multiple styles for me.

I got my nails done here for my birthday. The nail tech filed my nails until I bled and I told him he was hurting me several times to which he responded “you are very sensitive” I showed him a nail design that he said he could do and they had the material for- then after calling me sensitive, making me bleed on two fingers and basically finishing my nails he said he couldn’t do the design after all and that they didn’t even have the colors I wanted. So then he came up with his own design and it was nice… at first. Fast forward three days half of the little gems have fallen off, the gel polish on one of my fingers was full of air bubbles that sank and started peeling revealing uncured sticky gel polish underneath.
