Nail Tek I

I moved to the area and wanted to try them out. I’ve went 3 times for manis and pedis. They do have a long wait if you walk in without an appointment, there is a language barrier but I know a bit of Spanish although it’s not my native language and their prices are not as expensive as others I’ve seen. That being said I would say they give acceptable service for how much I pay. If I need a basic one-color gel mani or pedi I will come here but if I wanted special designs I’d go somewhere else. The French mani is listed at $20 but if you do a gel French mani it’s actually $40. The one star reviews seem exaggerated to me.

Well for one , I'm all for equal opportunities for employment. But the ladies don't speak English which makes it hard to ask for what you want even with picture reference. She messed my nails up I asked her if she would fix it even if I had to pay more she wouldn't ..no one around could understand me every time I go its a rushed experience and I go there for the convenience of it being near home but not being able to talk to anyone in the shop on top of the rush they ALL seem to follow I will not go back there

This is the worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon!!! I went in asking for tips with dip powder as a walk in and waiting 15 mins which was totally fine. However they did not ask me if I had prior nails on to remove them while I wait. I had to say the man working I needed them removed, I was then placed with the lady in the front to do my nail and she started doing acrylic nails. I told her that was not what I wanted and I wanted the dip powder nail. She then said okay and started to do the rest of the nails leaving the one acrylic on. Not only did I tell her multiple times that there was some pieces not covered she said “don’t worry, later”. I got a fill in and I have to say that it was horrible. For their expensive price you would think that their work would be good. I ended up filing my own nails which made the nail tech angry. Then when she polished my nails I ask for a 3rd coat because it was a light color and she became amazingly rude. I told her that I would pay for the extra coat of polish ( you would have thought her life was ending). When I asked if I could change the color I was told no. The guy came over and told her to just add the extra coat of polish so that I could leave. Before leaving I did end up having a smart mouth because I was really pleasant and respectful. Kinda became. Tired of their rudeness... I should have read the reviews first.

The manager is a bit rude, but the place seems clean. Although the ladies don't understand much English, they tend to you right away. You will not wait. They rush to serve you and rush to end their service once they're working on you. That's probably why they were empty. $5 to remove gel polish, $25 gel manicure and $20 pedicure. Try another place for happiness!!!
