Nail Lounge De Somerville

Love this salon and I've been going here for the last year and a half! Tina always does such an amazing job on my nails!! She is incredibly talented and creates beautiful designs. All of the staff are kind and welcoming. Highly recommend!!

Went in on a whim with no appointment. They quickly accommodated me. Lynn did my nails and she was PHENOMENAL. She took her time and made sure every detail was right and to my liking. I Will 100% be coming back, no doubt in my mind. Thank you Lynn!!!!!!!! My nails are so cute!!

I was in need of a manicure after letting it go for a long while as well as wanting to start new someplace else with a new set. I phoned Nail Lounge De Somerville since they are in my area, and I wanted to give them a try. I don't remember who I spoke with but he was very helpful and arranged an appointment for me very quickly. My nail tech artist was Tina and she understood my needs. I got a fresh new set which I am glad for--new beginning at a new place. My nails are exactly the way that I wanted them & have always had them, and Tina helped me find the perfect color (since I do not enjoy selecting my colors but I do love manicured nails at all times I just was not getting what I wanted at my last place). The salon is lovely. I'll be back. I highly recommend.

I am a regular customer and usually I like the service, but the last time I got my nails done, the nail artist literally cut my skin and I was bleeding. She stopped it immediately, but I think she needs to be more careful with clients. I also felt like she cut my skin way beyond the limits. I had a burning sensation around my nail for too long, and the next day my skin started shredding. It is still the same way. I don’t know what to do. I’m still dealing with it days later and honestly don’t know what to do. This experience has made me very uncomfortable, and I don’t feel safe coming back. I hope the salon takes more care with clients to prevent this from happening to anyone else. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this place based on my last experience.

I recently moved to Somerville and this was my first time trying Nail Lounge De Somerville, and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. I called ahead to ask for pricing and was told a gel manicure would be $40. When I arrived, I was seated right away, but during the service I was suddenly asked to choose between “regular gel” and “hard gel,” which I’ve never had to differentiate before. I chose hard gel, and was then told it would actually be $65 instead of the $40 I was quoted. I also had one broken nail and was told it would be an additional $10 to fix it. When I expressed concern about the pricing, the manager came over to explain — but instead of clearly clarifying, he continuously tried to upsell me and used confusing wording to push me into paying more.
