NAIL KITCHEN - CARY

I usually go to the Nail Kitchen in Raleigh, but they didn't have anyone really available and want to try the one in Cary since ill be moving there soon. When I first went a month ago, I went to see Mimi and fixed my nails due to not getting what I wanted the first time. She was nice, gave me the perfect almond shape and told her I would go back to here when it was time for my next fill in. Time has passed and wanted to get something nice done due to me recently separating from the military that i could do anything now! Mimi was not available so I booked online for a girl named Kim (booked for 2:15pm). I am literally crying over what they did to my healthy nails. It started with Vee — DO NOT go to her. She was very unfriendly and completely unprofessional. When she glued the nail tip, she left a visible gap underneath and could not get the shape right. When I tried to give feedback or ask for a specific shape, she ignored it and did something completely different. Another nail tech, Destiny, thankfully tried to fix the situation and was much more professional. However, because the tip was glued incorrectly from the beginning and had a gap between the tip and the acrylic, she had to drill my natural nail completely under the tip. This was painful and pulled at my skin. Even after that, the gap was still there, which is very concerning because it can collect moisture and lead to fungus. I

I just recently started going to the Nail Kitchen after searching for years for a go-to salon in Raleigh. Annie is seriously the best and so talented! I will definitely continue to get my nails done by her, I always get sooo many compliments on them. She kills it every time ❤️

I went to get my nails done with my daughter-in-law. I think they did a great job with my nails. We were a little late getting there; however the ladies were so great accommodating us. They were getting ready to close and they could have rushed is out, but they didn't. They patiently provided service at a nice price. I loved the options we were given for the nail polish. It is a nail salon, but the niceness and efficiency is superb.

Sitting in front of Annie getting my nails done, I was really disappointed by the energy and attitude I experienced. When I jokingly mentioned having pre-made design options because I was indecisive, her response was unnecessarily rude. She offered no help in choosing a design, and the prices here are also quite high for the level of customer service provided. I wanted to give a new nail salon a try today, but unfortunately this wasn’t the experience I hoped for. I’ll continue searching for a salon that values customer service and professionalism. A more respectful and welcoming demeanor would go a long way.
