N & K Nails

I have been an on going customer for multiple years with my family included (grandma, mom, and sisters). My sister got there at open at 10 am.. and was there for over an hour & a half. My sister just today paid $45 and tipped $15 for her pedicure. They told her to wait 10 minutes and she would be all set, and she was not all set. She politely went back in … and sat for an additional 30 minutes. And to note, while my sister was getting her pedicure done the staff member was also providing a manicure. With no gloves or washing hands in between. And did blow on her feet with her mouth…to add. I called on her behalf because she was genuinely so upset and felt like she was being laughed at over the phone. I was told when trying to advocate for her that “polish and product does not expire”. I went here with two of my friends a few weeks ago, when we got there, we were all sat immediately at the pedicure chair. One of my friends started their pedicure before me and we all got the same one. Mine was the first to end even though mine was started second. The guy who was doing my pedicure forgot to do half of the service and then rushed through painting my toenails. There was left over paint on my cuticles. Once he started my acrylics, he rolled his eyes at me when I asked for my middle fingers to be french tipped. He cut me with the electric file and made me bleed and then didn’t even give me something to wipe away the blood, he just let me bleed and didn’t say anything. I visited N&K for the first time yesterday when the salon I normally go to closed indefinitely without notice. I had previously gotten liquid gel, needed a fill & also needed two broken nails repaired. Min (I hope I’m spelling his name right) took me and what a great experience! His attention to detail was impressive and I especially appreciated him making sure the shape was just how I wanted. It’s the best fill I’ve ever had and I HIGHLY recommend N&K. It’s no wonder why every other customer I saw while there had been enough to be known by name. They have a new regular, for sure!

Probably the worst experience I’ve had in a long time. Called made an appointment and was assigned to the owner. He asked me what length I wanted I told him I wanted medium, he applies the tips, then applies all of the acrylic Before cutting the nails. He cut them and filed them extremely short but because the acrylic is already on them it is too late and I tell them they are very short but it’s fine to just leave them but he kept filing and making them shorter so I asked him not to shorten them anymore. He told me that what I Asked for is medium length and I said “I’m a nail tech too and this is considered short”. And I pointed out some of the tips were uneven. He thrn told me very rudely that if he knew that I was a nail tech he would’ve said no to doing my nails. I told him it’s very ru

I was skeptical of coming here with the negative reviews I had seen then it ended up being my last resort and I dont regret it, They were extremely friendly and accommodating, I arrived 30 minutes before closing and they took me anyways, it was a very relaxing experience for me especially after a long day at work.
