Made a reservation, had to wait when I got checked in. Once service was started she did take her time, so I appreciated that. Wasn't asked about my comfort or offered a beverage but I was comfortable on my own and able to take a meeting on Zoom while I was being helped. I got a basic gel pedicure, no hot towel and a slight massage for $60. On the higher end for a wait and No hot towel. Honestly. thats one of my favorite parts of a pedicure.

I arrived at the host stand and shared i wanted a design. The host took a picture and told me she would find a technician who can do it after my pedicure. I didnt receive any hot towels during my pedicure. The colors they provide you to slect from dont include a vast selection. I asked if the have traditional OPI colors and was then offered an increased selection....but only after asking. The technician who performed my builder gel fill in poorly shaped my nails and just slapped the builder gel on my nail bed. I brought this to her attention, but it was beyond repair. I then shared the picture with her, assuming the host did too....well she couldn't do it. Now I'm stuck with nails that are poorly shaped in a color I dont even like. I feel like if you are going to hustle me out of my money,

Just wanted to tell you about my wonderful experience yesterday. I was out and about on a Saturday afternoon in the Cotswold area and decided I needed a pedicure and manicure. I tried two other places before and they were packed, dirty, and just didn't feel right. Then I stumbled upon Modish Nail Spa at Plaza Midwood. I had never been there before, but I remembered visiting their Matthews location once. The receptionists were super friendly and when I asked about the wait time without an appointment, they said it would be around 45 minutes. But to my surprise, they got me seated with Kim, the technician, in just 10 minutes. She did an amazing job with my nails and the place was so clean and had a great ambiance. I’ve been coming here for a while out of convenience and it’s Hit or miss depends on your tech. most put in little effort and rushes, some actually take their time and do good work. But what does stay consistent is the rude customer service at the front desk. They don’t greet you, and on my last recent visit when I greeted them they just stared at me and asked “what do you want done” RUDE. And it’s obvious they want to cater to a certain type of race and treat them different. Do better.
