My Hair Salon

I had previously gone to Newbury Street for years and this salon tops all. Everyone there is very nice and what a wonderful atmosphere. Could not be more happier with Cheryl and Theresa due to my amazing color and cut. Joseph is also excellent. Pleasure

So I had been coming here for years since I was in high school in the early 2000's for updos for proms and semiformals. I've known Cheryl since that time in my life and she has not aged a bit in my eyes and has this way with people I feel like I can tell her anything she is just has a beautiful spirit and an optimistic attitude which I've always admired. I always walk out of the salon feeling like a new person with my hair looking and feeling fabulous. She has done my cuts, coloring, washing, blow drying, styling, and even straightening per request or she always makes sure to ask me beforehand which I loved that consideration since not every stylist will ask, some just do what they want to to your hair instead of asking like Cheryl so it's nice to say I have a stylist I trust with my hair.

I have been looking for a new hair salon and stylist for awhile now and "My Hair Salon"(Salon 622) was recommended by a friend. My appointment was with Theresa. I am so very happy with my experience there and thrilled with Theresa. She listened to what I wanted to do with my hair (she's a great listener!) and I am SO happy with the results! The salon is very comfortable, clean and reasonable. I felt like I was talking with a long time friend. She did an amaizing job cutting and coloring my hair. I couldn't be happier with the results!

I was very shocked today as I have been a customer at this salon for a while and today, when I went in for my hair appointment, I was denied service. The reason that I was given as to why I was being discriminated against was that the owner had seen me on television the night before. I had been advocating for a social justice and civil liberties issue that I am personally passionate about, and was interviewed by some news channels. Neither during the newsclip nor in the salon had I behaved in any way other than with dignity and respect, nor had I even discussed my personal views with the salon owner on this matter. I am very unhappy to learn that this business would turn away a loyal customer based on prejudice. I also feel sick that I allowed such a prejudiced person to touch my children'

Everyone here is so kind! We’ve been bringing our kids here since their first hair cuts. They are always patient and they do a great job! The prices are especially reasonable as well.
