I recently took my teenage son to My Bella's Beauty Salon, and Abiy was his hairstylist. As many parents know, teenagers can be very particular about their haircuts 😊. Abiy did such an amazing job listening to both of us. She made sure my son felt heard about what he wanted, while also giving professional guidance — even encouraging him to take responsibility for maintaining his haircut and keeping up with regular trims. I truly appreciated how she balanced kindness, patience, and professionalism. She didn’t rush the conversation and made my son feel comfortable and confident. The final result was a haircut he genuinely loved. Although I also had a wonderful personal experience there, what stood out most was how thoughtfully she handled my teenage son. Customer service was great. Everyone was welcoming and accommodating. The salon was nice and clean. I am very grateful that I was able to get a same day appointment for a very specific hairstyle. I wanted straight back cornrows with added extensions. She did warn me that she would do a test braid first before continuing to see if I would like it. I appreciated that as I know not a lot of people know how to do African-American hair. Overall she did a great job for something she might not have been used to. One thing I noticed when I got home is that a couple of the braids did start to unravel probably due to being cut just a little too short but the rest of the braids are fine. I was also a bit taken aback by the price which was $180. I am not sure if that’s the standard as I am new to the

I randomly booked an appointment at this salon and honestly didn’t expect much—I just wanted a simple wash and flat iron after taking my braids out. To my surprise, the experience was amazing! The salon is super clean with a nice open setup, and as soon as I walked in, I was greeted by three different people (loved that energy!). My appointment was at 1:00 with Ms. Rud, and I was in the chair by 12:56—no waiting around. 🙌🏾 I did ask if she had experience with African American hair, and she smiled and said, “My hair is coarse like yours, and yes, I have.” That instantly made me feel comfortable. From there, she gave me the BEST wash and scalp massage, then blow-dried my hair in sections with a roller brush. She used a little oil and flat ironed each section perfectly, giving me just a sli

5+++ Rud did an excellent job with my 4C hair! She was nice, pleasant and fast. I was in and out within 2 hours. I will absolutely rebook and tell all of my curly hair friends to book her!

I love my hair cut and style from Rud! I made a same day appointment for a long hair cut and the ladies were so friendly and welcoming. The service was fast and Rud was so gentle.
