M&V African Hair Braiding

This is the best braid shop my daughter and I have ever visited! The shop was neat and clean, the staff were professional, friendly and gave my daughter and I, the looks we requested. Respectively, both us experienced very mild scalp soreness, this was because the staff listened and responded to our request not to braid too tightly. We both had Senegalese twists installed, they were gorgeous, and stayed in place for the most part. My daughter had some slippage, but that was mainly due to her hair texture, which is very soft. We are transplants from Houston, Texas, where there is a braid shop on just about every corner, M&V African Hair Braiding won us over, with an overall excellent environment, great customer service, and we walked out looking and feeling beautiful. Very unprofessional. Made an appointment a week in advance never heard back from anyone. We live out of town and had drove into Lubbock for my appointment. Only to realize it had been canceled without my knowledge.

Elvira was Awesome. I used these ladies about two years ago and I never had a problem with my hair always a good job, I loved my African Kinky twist I wore them for about two years ,only problem I ever had was the communication when making my appointment and then showing up on time . Well I decided to give them another try. And again my hair was beautiful the young lady was there when I got there she started me immediately and finished 30 minutes early. Elvira did a great job she was friendly and nice. I recommend them if you want your hair braided.

Very sweet girls but I paid $250 plus $30 tip for locs that didn’t last 8 days bc they kept falling out. And they just looked very rough. Very disappointed.

I love my hair it is so prettyyyy they did a very good job on it. They are very nice and sweet I will definitely be back. I came all the way from Hugo, Oklahoma. They all do a good job but Elvira did mine 🥰🩷
