Mumy Awa Hair Braiding

I went in the day before to tell them what time I was coming and what I wanted (boho) and asked for a price… they told me $400 I said ok … the next day I come in and im getting my hair done she tells me it’s going to be $500 … they are rude and make up prices as they go … definitely never going back !!!!

Today I went and got my hair done from them and was told they were gonna be able to do six stitch Braids in the exact design from the picture that I showed them. I asked for them to be low back and I was given the price of $160. Later on, I told the person doing my hair that I instead of it being low back I just wanted it to be in a bun and I told them, they didn't have to do this because they didn't know how and I didn't like the way it looked. I was Ask if I wanted my braids to be a bit smaller I said yes thinking that I would still have six braids with less added hair. When my service was done, I asked with the new price was since I didn't get stitch and I didn't get the link that I originally asked for, I was told it was still 160 because the lady added two extra braids. Horrible hear

I found Mumy from a post on Tik Tok. I’ve passed this place several times and always wondered how well they do hair. After two incidents at a different braiding salon, I decided to give this place a try. 10/10 would recommend. The first time I got the stitch braids (which I got many of compliments on). Then I recently went back to get the knotless boho. The braids are done nice and neat. The sizes of braids are equal to each other. Most importantly, they are prompt, professional and pleasant. I will definitely be going back and I tell anyone who’s looking to get their hair braided neat to go here.

I always get my hair done here for the last couple years .me and my mom they are always so nice.

The service was excellent, Shanta was kind, very friendly and fast paced. The salon is clean and well maintained.
