Mukisa locs has a peaceful and serene atmosphere and Jennifer has a beautiful vibe and a kind spirit. I was nervous about getting my locs But Jennifer was very patient in answering my questions and helped me understand different types of locs, hair density, and textures. She did my hair fantastically. She also educated me about aftercare. She suggested the best yet affordable aftercare products. I LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE. I'm glad I started my journey with Mukisa locs.

This is the place where the magic began. Last year September is when I began my loc journey. I must say I had been contemplating Microlocs for some time. I logged on to instagram looking for salons near me, lo and behold Mukisa Locs popped up and would you believe it was 10 minutes from my home. Made an appointment for a consultation. Jennifer was thorough and her spirit so inviting and welcoming. I’ve been coming ever since! ❤️

I had a consultation with Jennifer and I must say she was amazing. This was my first consultation for my hair since I've had locs for the past almost 20 years. I paid $30 for it and I thought that consultation was free but I didn't mind paying for it. She explained everything in detail what I would need and the price. I was blown away by the price. I guess I didn't realize how much repair and maintenance cost these days. Overall I had a good experience but I'm not sure if I'll be moving forward without a few more consultations from a few other people first.

Always a great experience between the actual hair experience and conversations and vibe. My appointments always start on time. The crochet loc tightening lasts months on my hair type and the finished style leaves me feeling beautiful. Bathroom always clean which is added bonus considering the length of appointments.
