Ms. Nikki’s Hair Studio is truly a gem! I’ve gotten a silk press, hair trim, and braids here, and every single service has been exceptional. Ms. Nikki is incredibly professional, gentle with your hair, and really takes her time to make sure you leave feeling confident and looking amazing. The salon is welcoming, clean, and has such a relaxing vibe. My silk press is always silky and last beautifully, my trims are precise without taking off more than needed, and my braids are always neat, painless, and long-lasting. If you’re looking for a Black-owned salon that truly cares about healthy hair and top-tier service, Ms. Nikki’s Hair Studio is the place to go in the Bloomington/Normal area. 10/10 I Highly recommend!

LOVE THE SERVICE!!! I was looking for a black owned hair salon and found one that knew how to follow what I needed for my hair. I went in for a wash and a silk press left with my hair feeling so soft and silky I could never do that at home lol LOVE Marcus Sanford will 100% be going back for my monthly wash !!!

Marrrcusss darling!! I wore braids and hadn’t had a relaxer for over 10 years. I decided to try something new for my birthday. Marcus was very nice and patient. He took his time to make sure my hair looked great. Weeks later and I am still getting compliments on my hair! I would recommend him to anyone that wants to look and feel great.

Had my wife go to this place and Nikki gave her the worst treatment she’s ever had. Her experience was terrible to say the least. My wife was supposed to get a simple wash and conditioning completed by Nikki but that was a lie. It was supposed to be around $60 as advertised - but that was a lie. She ended up paying close to $100 for basic hair service My wife was assured that the assistant stylist was competent - but that was also a lie. The guy was incompetent and perhaps at best inexperienced. I’d like to believe the high ratings left by others but after the way my wife was treated we won’t be spending our money at this place. Would give it 0.5 stars if I could.

I’ve been going to Ms. Nikki’s for a few years now!!!! She’s been good to me! Her family is my family and vice versa! She’s more than a talented hair stylist. I am always welcomed with open arms!!
