MR PHIL HOVEY HAIR: Barber/Stylist

I went to Phil to get my first haircut from multiple recommendations from friends and I couldn't be more happy with the results. I have now been getting my haircut from him for nearly two years. His haircuts are consistently what I want. We also have great conversations during the haircut as well. My father and my son go to him to get their haircuts. I recommend anyone to go check Phil out and get a haircut. He is also doing styling and coloring now too. I'm excited to see what the future of MPH hair is going to look like!

I’ve been going to Phil for about 4 years now, and he’s a master at what he does. With Phil, you don’t just get a great haircut, you also get the experience and knowledge he has about hair. He makes sure your hair is set up for success whether you want to grow it out or keep it short. Always has a friendly attitude too. The whole atmosphere is unique compared to any barbershop I’ve been to. He makes sure it’s not just the haircut that’s great, but also providing most comfortable shampooing chair, where the headrest goes, and even using the quietest clippers possible. All of those little details are things he actually thinks about, and that’s what really makes Phil stand out from every other barbershop I’ve been to.

I've been going to phil for years now and can't believe I haven't written a review yet the man is an artist with clippers, I'm very particular with who touches my hair and beard but he kills it EVERY time I leave every visit feeling like a new man, the new location is awesome very relaxing place to just talk about literally anything while getting my fade lined up, wish I was a richer man id be going weekly, if youre a first timer don't hesitate phil is the man he'll get you right. Extremely knowledgeable about hair products as well dont hesitate to ask him about whats best to use he usually has the good stuff on sale

Amazing cut every time. I typically change styles and he nails it every time. Highly recommend

We tried this place as he seemed to come across very accepting to anyone. We started out thinking this place was good for the price but was told today that Phil no longer wants to cut our hair because it was not a good fit personality wise. Personality wise? Your job is to cut hair. But speaking of personality, its Phil's that should be addressed. Whatever hair cutting talent he may have, he lacks in customer service. He seems to be more worried about anything happening to his stuff then how the customer feels. During one haircut, he freaked out because feet were placed on a part of his "extremely expensive barber chair" in the wrong spot and instead of saying something like, just make sure you don't put your feet there, he needed to tell us that his chair is expensive and there are signs
