I needed a last minute trim before a meeting and Peter took care of me as a walk in. Highly recommend.
The best haircut and best friend you could ever have from the moment you meet him!
I have a wedding in Chicago this this weekend, and my wife let me know that getting a haircut before we left would have been a good thing! So in a panicking, I found this place because it was around the corner from my hotel. I have a short fade haircut and just needed to be cleaned up around the neck and sides with a little off the top. When I called to make my appointment, the person I spoke to (presumably the owner), without asking any questions, just rudely said "We don't cut women's hair". First, he didn't ask if I was a woman. Second, even though I am, he didn't ask what type of hair I have. I was taken aback. I said to him that I didn't realize his barber skills prevented him from knowing how to cut hair based on what the body looked like under the neck. Very old school and rude. To
Called to schedule a haircut with a friend and was immediately informed, “we do not cut women’s hair” based on the sound of my voice, and despite what their website says, “Traditional Haircuts for Men and Women”. What a presumptuous, discriminatory and outdated policy! A modern barber shop should be inclusive and welcoming to all clients, regardless of gender. It's frustrating as hell to encounter such a lack of professionalism and openness. I prefer to keep my hair short, modern, and professional, which some might label as a "men's cut." Is hair suddenly gender-specific?!? This kind of outdated thinking is unacceptable and archaic. Get with the times, Mr. Barber!
