Moxie Salon And Beauty Bar - Ridgewood

We booked hair and makeup for a group of six at Moxie Salon in Ridgewood, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The staff was attentive, welcoming, and incredibly professional, and every woman walked out looking beautiful and confident. They were so accommodating as I essentially took over the salon for a content-day photo shoot, which made the entire experience seamless and stress-free. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the entire team — Sofia, Jaret, and Suela were especially wonderful, and Jaylin and Liliana were also incredibly helpful. Sally, the owner, is amazing to work with as well. Truly a group of professionals.

My experience at Moxie Ridgewood was 10/10, I couldn’t be happier with the services or stylists that were chosen for me. I called on Thursday for a dry style with adding in my own extensions for volume, as well as full event makeup and lashes. I arrived early and was taken on time. Liliana did my hair and Jaret did my makeup. Both stayed through the night - neither moved. In fact, my curls are still in tact this morning, I could easily refresh them and head out now for a Sunday out.. Run, don’t walk, to Moxie Ridgewood! They are an awesome full-service salon, have great energy and priced right. Thank you for taking care of me, I will be back for future events!

The customer service at Moxie Salon in Ridgewood really stands out. Everyone listens, takes their time, genuinely cares, & clearly takes pride in the work they do. That kind of atmosphere doesn't happen by accident. It's a reflection of the owner, Sally, whose warmth and heart set the tone for the entire salon. I wanted to do something special for my daughter’s 21st birthday & I decided to bring her here. It was my first time, & it couldn't have been a better experience. Sofia truly transformed my daughter with her makeup. Jaylin cut & styled my daughter’s hair & did an amazing job. I had the best experience today with the girls at Moxie. My appointment time was at 12:30 to start. It did start late however I was calm about it because I knew I was going to get taken care of. You know, good things take time. The ladies even celebrated my birthday 🥹 then, I got in the make-up chair and even though it started was late, she did her best to get me in and out of there as quickly as possible, EVEN with a customer Screaming at her during the process AND also telling me I was in ‘her’ chair, Sofia did not flinch once and I will be going out looking spectacular for my birthday. Started just going for a blow out and ended up switching to a stylist at Moxie Ridgewood after being with my stylist for over 12 years. I highly recommend Anthony! From the second I got into his chair I felt super comfortable and had no fear that he would do amazing work on my hair. Usually when you try someone new one tends to be super nervous, however not with Anthony! So glad I found him!
