I’ve been to moxie a few times now and I have always been super pleased. I had coloring done with Mara and I am obsessed with what she did for me! It’s beautiful and exactly what I wanted. Mara was so professional and took care of my hair with checking the bleach to make sure my hair was lifting correctly as I was a natural brunette. I am so happy with the results! Mara is a wonderful colorist and so kind. Overall, Everybody at Moxie is also super friendly and caring, they made sure that my experience was great. I highly recommend this salon!

Mara did an absolutely amazing job on my haircut and color—I am beyond obsessed with the results! She truly listened to what I wanted and brought it to life even better than I imagined. The cut is so flattering and the color is perfect—rich, fresh, and exactly what I was hoping for. She is incredibly talented, professional, and made the whole experience so enjoyable. I left feeling confident and refreshed. Highly recommend Mara to anyone looking for a transformation they’ll love!

If I can give this place a 0 star I would. I had a blowout down with one of the girls and I liked it. I came in today to get my highlights retouch with Bruno and it turned into my worst nightmare. The most patchiest and damaged my hair has ever been! His technique was awful the money piece was extremely terrible. I came in for a retouch and the top was still dark at the end and he made my highlight completely orange. He did nothing but ruin and play in my hair. In the end he told me I should’ve tried a different stylist which I wish he would’ve told me before wasting my time and ruining my hair. I left CRYING. If you care about your hair do not dye it here

Tuesday, 27th Jan 2026 after the storm. This review is NOT about hair styling. It’s about service. Earlier today, I was fortunate to find a hair product that my wife was desperate to have for an upcoming business trip. Fortunately, the shop at 32 N Dean Street has it in supply. I called and spoke to a very cool person who took the extra step of asking for my name so she could set it aside for easy pickup. That’s a very kind move. She told me the shop closes at 8PM. After work, I decided to double check the closing time. Again, I was told 8PM. So, I drove to the salon from Yonkers, NY (40 minute trip). Got to the salon at 7:50. Two employees were there telling me the place is closed. I tried to appeal to their kindness. I told them I traveled from Yonkers. I told the product has been set

Michelle is amazing at both makeup and hair! She was precise, professional, and really understood exactly what I needed. I usually struggle with decisions, but she made it so easy by giving me her best recommendations. Everything felt effortless, and I walked away feeling confident and beautiful thanks to her expertise. I’ve also had my hair done by Rita before, and she gave me an amazing haircut. Booking my appointments has always been so easy, whether online or over the phone, with great communication from the beautiful Chancey. Thank you so much to the talented team at Moxie!
