Mountaineer Barber Shop LLC

Moved to Washington, WV a year ago and fortunately found Mountaineer Barber Shop. My wife says that this is the best haircut I've ever had. Highly recommended.

EDIT* My experience at this establishment was apparently too "dramatic." And the owner, after 3 years, mocks the fact that I was worried for my safety during our one and only interaction. So I'll keep it straightforward **A couple of 20y/o pull over and park for a few min. Due to deer damage on the car and the windows being tinted, the owner and his group of friends find us suspicious. To express their discomfort with our presence, they surround the car and question the damage. They peep through the closed windows, questioning what's in the backseat. They get my bf to step out and they check him, while the owner is at my window asking questions and making sure we understood that they were all carrying... 5-6 grown men vs 2 young adults, I don't need to make it dramatic. From the time you walk in, it takes you back to the atmosphere growing up. All the cool knickknacks really set the mood to help bring this shop alive. Everyone waiting gets involved with the discussion and can enjoy a great laugh. Rick himself is an honorable man. He has so many stories to relate and he gets to know you on a personal level that makes it so much more than a hair cut. 10/10 for the experience that you can’t buy from a corporate haircut place.

I highly recommend this barbershop. Rick (the owner) is incredibly easy to get along with and his 18 years of haircutting experience is self-evident. If you're looking for a haircut, Rick is your guy.
