Mountain Barber Shop

Smitty is great! Never in a rush and cuts my hair great every time! When I moved into the area, I tried 3 others and they always go fast and seem to make mistakes. They do not get the wife's approval, which everyone knows is everything! Every time I come back from Smitty, she is happy! High recommended!!

I've came to this place twice and both times the sign said open and no one there. First time I went to the downstairs door and knocked and someone guy shouted don't knock! Then proceeded to come out and ask me what I wanted...I said do you know the barber upstairs and he responded Yes but he's not here then went up stairs into the shop. The second time I came same thing except the same guy came out from downstairs and asked me why I was here. I responded because this is a barber shop...he didn't say another word and acted like it was a bother and walked into the shop. I walked off. I do not need someone who feels it's a bother to trim my beard. I don't know if that guy is the barber or what is going on but there obviously not in the business to make money. I found this excellent barber just riding by....new to the Waynesville area....I was very lucky....found a great barber who cuts my hair with skill....he is never in a rush. I have been using his services for almost a year and never a bad cut....a true gentleman.

Great barber, takes his time, makes sure hair is cut the way you want it.
