Motherland Hair Braiding

Motherland use to be it but not anymore they fell off. Came 8:15 am waited to after 9am they never opened. Just so happened to see her open the door after 12 noon I walk over and say are yall open she say oh we done for today , but they never even opened at all SMH. I'm done with them

The service was terrible! I was told that the hours of operation was 8 am til 5 pm. My daughter and I waited for one hour in the bitting cold on New Year's eve morning. Once they arrived, the attitude was unbelievable. I showed the picture of the style I requested. She said she could do it. It looks nothing like the picture!! They also use some kind of blended hair that looks like yarn... My daughter is writing her own review. She is equally dissatisfied. I will never patronize or recommend no one!!!!!

I went to get some Senegal Twist done, I had to keep telling the lady that was braiding my hair it was too tight. As she was parting my hair, she kept digging into my scalp. After she was done, I couldn't pull my hair up bcuz of how tight it was. The next day, when I tried to pull my braids up, I noticed I had four different sizes of braids in my hair. Needless to say, I will never patronize them again!!

9/28/17 I've been coming to the shop for almost 3 years and my last 3 visits here I was not happy with my wait they are so inconsiderate😣came in at 9am left out at 9pm & didn't not like my braids. Today I come in here at 8:30 for my hair braided up into a ponytail here it is 5:31 p.m. I'm still in here here not done. They always changing prices they tell you one thing over the phone and when you get here it's another price. And yes all they do do Is scream and yell across the room and talk about people but take our 100s of dollars its ashame. I have got to find a way better place to get my hair done today was the last day that they receive any penny from me again.

Been going here for over 10 Yes over 10 years and I still have my edges and so does my daughter who has been getting her hair braided since she was 7 and she is about to be 14. The price is average and so is the time. I drive from Delaware and the ride is not long at all.
