This is the place for a wash, cut, and style! Elisa did layers for my "Updated Rachel" on dry hair and it looks great! She was professional enough to point out a mistake my Tangles stylist did over 6 weeks ago! It is easy to cover and I commend Elisa for bringing it to my attention. Mop Heads smells better than Tangles and Elisa didn't use a ton of product so not only do I not smell like a chemical barn, my hair will last a day longer before washing. I don't want to bash Tangles. I love their coloring, but my cut experiences haven't been great there, and now know it is the lack of experience of certain stylist(s) at Tangles. I have been a client at Mop Heads for over 5 years and have loved each time I went for a cut and color. While I am now no longer in the area, I have had to say goodbye to everyone there. Still, I highly recommend Mop Heads in general, and Layla specifically. Layla gave my husband THE best haircut of his life and after 39 years, I should know ; ) His hair is thick and he has several cowlicks that Layla was able to address. The cut lasted a long time, as the best hair cuts do. My second comment about this salon is the positive atmosphere. The music, conversations, even the clean smell makes for a very relaxing place you don't mind spending an hour or two in. If you looking for a new stylist or are looking to change salons, I would highly recommend Mop Heads.

I had my first appointment today with Zach for a haircut. I can’t review his skills as a hairdresser, because he wasn’t there when I arrived for my 1:30pm confirmed appointment. I arrived and another hairdresser told me to take a seat in his chair, as he had just stepped out and would be right back. I waited until it was 15 minutes into my hour appt, then asked the neighboring hairdresser if he would be there soon. She tried to text and call, to no avail. Once I had been waiting for 30 minutes, I told her I would just leave. Even if he showed up at that point it would be too late, as I needed to be gone by 2:30pm (as scheduled) to get my kids from school. After I left, his scheduler (Madison) called me and told me they thought the appointment before me was me - this makes absolutely no se

I really wanted to love this place, nice place and nice stylist just disappointed in the haircut and mostly sad because I had so much potential to get the hairstyle I’ve been looking for I had long hair close to my waist, and asked for layers like the picture on the right. I asked and I showed a picture if they can actually give me that hairstyle and confidently the lady said yes. At first I thought it would look better after I would style it but nope I’ve tried styling it with my Dyson blow dryer and brush and everything and still looks so choppy and nothing what I asked for :( if you’re looking for a good haircut, I would avoid this place!! I paid for hair cut, wash and blow dry.

Caryn was great! She squeezed me in to her busy day because I really needed my hair colored before taking professional photos this Sunday. She also captured exactly what I wanted which is rare for any person that meets me for the first time! On top of that, she was also super sweet and knowledgeable. Also, the environment was super cozy and all of the staff were super friendly, supportive and helpful for one another. Will definitely be going back
