Monarch Beauty Lounge

WOW! I visited today for the first time and I was absolutely blown away by this salon! The atmosphere is warm and everyone is so friendly. Helen, my stylist, was a total gem! We had a consultation about what I was looking for - a lived-in, dimensional blonde balayage look and she nailed it perfectly. I am so satisfied that I’ve already scheduled my next appointment. I can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend checking out this cute salon. 5 stars for sure!

First off the owner, Kasadie, was amazing and able to get me in the next day on short notice. The hair stylist was Helen and she was absolutely fabulous. Not only did they accommodate me, but she stayed over several hours past her shift to do a complete hair color and cut. She did a wonderful job and I love my hair so much. Their salon is super cute and clean. They offer snacks and drinks and they were all very nice and the experience was lovely! I will always come back and recommend to anyone!!!!

I absolutely loved the glow facial I got there. Emma was the esthetician that provided the service. I will definitely be back to explore additional services provided by Monarch Beauty Lounge in Shepherdstown! I also support our local, small businesses so give them a try if you're in town! There were also some really cute cards for sale from a local artist! I went back for a 90 minute deep tissue massage and it was amazing! Highly recommend!

Cassidy did an amazing job fixing a haircut I was unhappy with from another provider. From the start, she set clear and realistic expectations about what could be corrected vs what had to grow out, which I really appreciated. She handled my super fine hair texture with total confidence and made the whole process look effortless. On top of that, she was incredibly easy to talk to and made me feel comfortable the entire time. You can tell she truly cares about her clients and runs a great business. Will be returning!!

Been wanting a shag cut for so long. I went to a salon a month ago but the stylist was too nervous to do it. I booked an appointment here after seeing all the great reviews and I was blown away. Kasadie cut and colored my hair and gave me exactly what I was hoping for. The cut is absolutely stunning and the color is perfect. She was also so sweet and funny, which made the whole experience even better. The salon itself is gorgeously decorated and has such a great vibe. I also loved that at the end she asked if I wanted a little more layering and added a few more pieces, which was the cherry on top. Thank you so much. I’m so happy I found such a great hairdresser.
