Modern Nails, Inc.

So I started going here a little over a month ago and every single time I've been in it has been clean the environment is very calming. I appreciate all the wide variety of colors they have and not to mention how talented each of their techs are. I also took my little sister here a little while back she's never had acrylics or anything like this before and the entire time they talk to her insured her that everything was okay even though she was worried about the Dremel our stylist at that time her name is Lee was so patient kind and helpful for her. Lee remembered my sister almost 2 months after the fact of her first coming in and asked me about her today I was so impressed with this I look forward to coming here every so often and enjoying my time 10 out of 10 would recommend. Daughter called and asked for an appointment at 9 am - which Peter took. When she arrived he yelled at her because they don’t open until 10 am- which she did not know and would have never asked for if she did. Then he proceeded to yell at her, bully her and did a terrible job on her nails. Did not ask length or shape and her nails look absolutely terrible. Told her she needed to relax - like she could after all that. One- don’t take an appointment if you’re not open and two don’t take it and treat your customer terrible because you did. Daughter left in tears and now will have to elsewhere to get the nails fixed. I called to complain and he yelled at me and called my daughter a liar and hung up on me.

Anna did such a great job! I have very ugly nails, thick and ingrown. She took such care to clean under my nails, get ingrown nails out, thin the thick nails. I have been to many salons and not had such a great experience as I did with Anna. She is delightful and cares about her clients. Thank you Anna! I will be back. I took a friend with me he doesn't live near here, but she also was so happy with her pedicure.

I was very disappointed with my experience at Modern Nails. I called ahead of time to see if they took card and was told by an employee that they took both cash and card. At the end of my appointment they told me it was cash only, so I had to drive all the way home and back to get cash. The man who did my nails seemed very annoyed and overall extremely grumpy. He kept getting angry with me and telling me to relax my hands, but then would swat my fingers with the nail file when they were in his way. It’s also very hard to relax your hands when someone is missing the nail and cutting your skin. He did a very mediocre job on the actual nails. I have bubbles on some of the gel, the shape is not what I asked for, and they are super lumpy. I get my nails done every three weeks as a way to pamper

My first time at Modern Nails I had my acrylic nails taken off. Since I prefer having my nails soak in acetone and then drilled off, my nail tech accommodated my request and shaped my natural nails perfectly! All of the nail techs were very nice. Great experience and I will be back for sure 🥰
