Modern Male Spas

I have spent the years since Covid struggling to find a place to get my haircut that does a good job, has a nice environment, and treats their customers well -but it seems that I have finally found it! Modern Male does a good job of capturing the ‘male spa’ experience without feeling forced or pretentious and they offer a wider array of services than their peers. While I haven’t yet sampled any of the their other offerings, I have been returning to the same stylist (Courtney) for a haircut/ scalp treatment for the better part of a year so far and couldn’t be happier. Truth be told, I’m not sure what the value of the scalp treatments is - or if I need it, but it’s a really relaxing massage at the very least! Everyone in the salon is extremely pleasant and engaging, and the space is cozy,

Service was good. Cut is fine. A little upset because I asked for my mullet since I’ve been growing my hair out and she buzzed the back of my head, so no I have to restart. Not super thrilled about that.

Only threw their hat in the ring to be part of the dublin espresso martini trail. Sadly after waiting 15 minutes to be acknowledged by a staff member, she had no clue what was going on. Couldn't make our drinks so we had to leave. Waste of time.

First time at a male spa and after this experience it won't be my last. I arrived a few minutes early to my appointment and service was prompt and on time. Great service and atmosphere.

I get the haircut and beard trim here every 2 weeks. Melissa is an absolute perfectionist and she's cut my hair consistently perfect for 5 years now.
