Mizz Nailz

Stopped going here for a while because I was out of town and didn’t live nearby. But this was my go to spot early last year. Just moved closer and went back set up my appointment the morning of before they opened. I love this nail salon. The staff is super laid-back and talk amongst themselves. Have good music playing, every time I’ve shown them referenced photos. It’s always come out better than The reference photo.

I just moved to Reno which means 1) I didn’t have a go-to nail salon yet and 2) my hands and nails were in rough condition. The girls at Mizz Nails were wonderful! I got a gel mani and pedicure and went with a light pink for a wedding I have this weekend. While my nails are so short at the moment, they look so fresh and well done! I’ll definitely be returning.

**⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Day at Mizz Nails: Where Time Stands Still (Literally) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️** Oh, *Mizz Nails*, you absolute *sanctuary of relaxation*—where else can I spend half my day getting a foot massage so long I actually forgot I had feet? Bravo. The wax treatment was exquisitely painful. . just like I imagine medieval torture to be, but hey, smooth legs are worth the emotional trauma, right? And the polish! Such vibrant colors—truly a rainbow exploded onto my nails. I’m now a walking art exhibit, and strangers definitely aren’t staring at my neon-green-pink-glitter claws in horror. But the real star of the show? The ambiance. Nothing says *"spa day"* like loud pop music, the soothing aroma of acetone, and the gentle sound of someone aggressively filing nails like they’re sanding down a tab

What I asked for versus what I got 😭. This is my third visit to the shop and not a single happy visit. Staff doesn’t listen to feedback or correction requests. Another nail tech did fix my set closer to the desired style which I was grateful for. But I will not be back and definitely would not recommend

So lucky to find Mizz Nailz and Sarah! This salon has a clean open floor plan with good lighting and sparkle everywhere. Sarah is so wonderful, caring, hardworking, managing all at once, yet amazing and conscientious. She makes my brittle short nails look fresh and new every time with a new GEL-X set. The prices are the best in town for such quality work. When I first came 10 months ago, it wasn’t too busy, but now that the secret is out, especially during the summer & holidays it can be packed, that is why I make appointments on weekday afternoons and find better parking.
