Awesome place to come braid your hair or any other kind of hair style. The people are friendly and have good hair stylists. They color, crochet, weaves ,twist, dread , blowdry, and do kids, too .

I had a horrible experience at this salon. I traveled from Delaware to NJ to get my hair cut. The young lady who cut my hair did not know what she was doing. She butchered my hair. I reached out to the salon owner for a refund. I had to find someone else to correct the problem, which meant spending more money and losing more hair than expected. She has given me excuses but no refund. There are untrained stylists here.

My 14y/o daughter usually wears her hair natural, and because of bad salon experiences in the past, I usually do conditioning treatments and trims on my own for her at home. I brought her here for the first time today and I'm relieved to say that I finally found her a great salon! I scheduled her with India for a steam shampooing/deep heat conditioning and a trim. First and most importantly to me was that we both loved India! She was very friendly, which made my daughter feel comfortable throughout the whole process! She was open to any questions or concerns that we had, gave us insight on what products to use and recommendations for future upkeep! As for the treatment and trim, it left her beautiful curls looking and feeling soo fresh, clean, lightweight and healthy! Because of the profes

I love the service and professionalism of Ms. Pat. My cuts are always perfect and I receive lots of compliments on my hair afterwards. Also, you can get a great conversation while you’re in her chair. Love this salon and it’s across the street from my apartment. Hope Mixed Roots NEVER closes!

Sanitized after each client at stylist station and wash bowls. Great client interaction. Braids, Dominican blowout, crochet, barber needs, this shop does it all and they are great at it. Pat has been doing hair for over 25 years. Skills!
