I had walked by Mr. & Mrs. many times but the day I walked in and met Marc was a game-changer for my hairstyle and happiness. Marc is first and foremost a great listener… coupled with his expert knowledge and incredible styling skills you end up with an amazing experience and walk out looking great. Marc is truly an artist and he has been a great partner to me in crafting a hairstyle that looks natural, lived in, and fun. The cherry on top is that Marc is great to chat about life with. Happy to have found a great Stylist, Friend and Salon near home! Thank you Marc!!

I have been seeing Marc for the past decade and I can not say enough how much I trust only him to touch my hair. I moved to Texas 2 years ago and whenever I have the chance to come back to California I book an appointment with Marc. He has taken my hair to light to dark to back to light and everything in between. Whenever I book an appointment with him, I don't go in with a plan, I give full trust to him to create magic. Every single time, it comes out beautiful!

I just got my hair done by Marc at Mister and Mrs. in Japantown, and I couldn’t be happier! He’s talented, detail-oriented, and really listens to what you want. My haircut came out exactly how I envisioned—fresh, flattering, and easy to style. On top of that, Marc is so friendly and makes the whole experience enjoyable. I had walked past here several months ago and thought I would check it out because I was impressed with how great they made the interior of an old tofu shop look. I saw you could book appointments online so I booked one with Johnny. I was greeted by a sweet pug, and enjoyed petting him while I waited. I had no idea what I wanted for a haircut but described the functionality I wanted to Johnny. He asked several questions, and got to work. We had a great conversation, I felt like I unexpectedly made a friend. At the end of the appointment my hair looked the best it has ever looked, and was functionally exactly what I described. I will definitely be back!

In addition to his amazing work on my hair, I honestly feel like he’s helped me see the world differently.
