Miss Nails - Oak Lawn

I’m usually a regular here, the last time I went I asked for builder gel and told them I heard it’s supposed to preserve your natural nail because each time I get gel it completely destroys my nails and I have to grow them out again, the tech explained that it’s an extra up charge which I was fine paying as long as it protected my nails. And I specified preserving my nail health several times. He told me to come in every 2-3 weeks so he can fill it… which I did, I decided to take them off after 2 months and I went in and asked for a removal service mani and pedi and asked the price they told me it’s going to be $40 for both I agreed and didn’t question it… I was seated and she proceeded to remove the gel and that’s it nothing else I was confused but stayed silent.. then she asked me to sit

I was a walk-in due to a last minute need for a manicure for an event. I was accepted right away. I requested a simple manicure. I don't like no chip because it is damaging to my nails. The gentleman that worked on my nails used the nail drill (I had to look it up) supposedly to remove loose and dry cuticles. However, it created a ridge in my nail bed on each finger. I did not notice it until I removed the nail polish a week later. Now, a month later, I have deep ridges on each finger. To top it off, instead of using a nail dryer to dry my nails, I had to hold my hands in front of a miniature fan, switch hands and finger position to dry the polish. I wouldn't advise visiting unless someone gives you a name of a nail tech there they trust and have used to provide service to them.

I love this place. Everyone is always so friendly and do a great job on your nails and pedicures

Called at 10 this morning to find out if I could come in for a manicure. I was told yes. Walked in, signed in and got taken care of right away. My nail tech today was Paul and he did a great job of shaping my nails and cleaning up my cuticles. (I am all about cuticles and too many nail techs don’t know how to care for them) so thank you Paul. Manicure was $18 and I left feeling great 😊

I went in for a no chip pedicure and nail polish change on my full set. Lily was excellent. Her attention to detail was outstanding and I have never had the prettiest set of nails. I’ll be coming back to her moving forward.
