I have not yet had the privilege of sitting in the chair at Misfits, but I felt compelled to write this review because businesses with this level of heart are incredibly rare. As a retired paramedic and current press photographer, I have seen a lot of the world, and I place a premium on empathy, integrity, and safety. My interactions with the owner made it immediately clear that Misfits Hair Co. is more than just a salon—it is a genuine safe haven. The owner operates with a deep, uncompromising compassion for all living beings, and that ethos translates directly into how they treat people. I absolutely adore this place and all that goes with it! The owner is very professional and the love for what she does radiates through her business! the stylists, the art, the amazing atmosphere of laughter and just real, down to earth people that care about you and how you feel and look! I have been going to Rhi for years because I have crazy thick wacky curly hair, It’s hard to trust anyone with it..she’s just amazing at what she does. When you find your person, treat them right because they will always take care of you! Rhi does and I’m so grateful! They’ve added to their awesome family of stylists and a nail tech! I cannot recommend Misfits enough! Great vibe upon walking in— definitely a judgement-free zone, super comfortable, and amazing artwork. Rhi gave me a great haircut using creative discretion, can’t wait to go back for color! Thanks ladies!

I wish I could leave more than 5 stars!! I haven’t gone to a hair salon for 4 years- I struggle with anxiety and can be pretty weird and/or awkward sometimes, so finding a salon with an atmosphere and stylists that felt right for me (plus with good prices) felt impossible. Well this was absolutely the perfect place! 🥳 Got the shag cut of my dreams from Mylinna! She kept the length of my hair that I wanted which made me so so happy- as well as had amazing attention to detail, making sure that everything was even and fell well around my head. I’ve felt so much more confident, and the fresh cut + amazing experience was what I needed to help me out of a little sad slump I’ve been in.
