Mint is the absolute best salon I have ever been to and I love my hair!! Vanessa, Erin and the entire staff are so kind and wonderful. I have never had a better hair cut and color treatment. The products they use hydrate your hair instead of damaging it. Thank you all and I’m so happy I have found this place!

I’ve seen Vanessa twice since switching to her as my new stylist, and I can honestly say she’s a lifesaver! She came to my rescue after another stylist had left my hair in such bad shape that I couldn’t do anything with it. Vanessa stepped in with compassion and a fire in her eyes and confidently told me she could fix it — and she absolutely delivered each time! Not only does Vanessa care deeply about her clients, but she also genuinely cares about her staff. In a time when many businesses and stylists rush through appointments, Vanessa stands out by taking the time to give you the best experience possible. If you’re looking for a stylist who truly loves her craft and makes you feel valued from start to finish, this is where you need to go!

Mistake in choosing this salon, holidays of 2025, in a prestigious area and did so as I felt I would receive the service, respect, and upscale stylists, normally in this area. I personally believe after sitting in this stylist's chair, she did not have the knowledge and experience she should have to be on Park Avenue where the client expectations exceeded her experience. I would be filing a report with the Winter Park BBB but Mint on the Avenue is not a member (no surprise there) but the Bangz Salon down Park Ave which she co-owns is. I went to great lengths to explain to my stylist,( and I choose not to name her here, it's not to publicly shame her, it's to bring to light the lack of knowledge and experience at this salon and the VERBAL ABUSE I had from the owner Vanessa Minter/Denney

I’ve been going to Aveda for more than a year (who’s counting). Vanessa and her team are by far the best I’ve ever come across. I started with one hair stylist and am now with Monica (the BEST ever). Vanessa has been welcoming since the day I met her and Caleb/Kaleb at Rollins. Everyone at the salon is extremely welcoming, professional, kind, and a real joy to be around. AVEDA at Mint on The Avenue is my 2nd home. They know I love them! But to be fully honest, Monica does an impeccable job with my hair every. single. time. I couldn’t recommend this salon more. Just the most talented and sweet bunch of people. I look forward to every appointment.

I have gone to Bangz countless times for my hair and each time I am blown away by the service. Vanessa is one of the most genuine people I know. I tell what I want and then she gives me a rundown of what she thinks we should do for my hair, how much it will cost, and the best way to keep it healthy post-appointment. I have never been to a business would truly cares about the guest as much as Vanessa does. I am naturally a brunette and wanted to go icy blonde and Vanessa has gone above and beyond. She goes the extra mile to make sure that my hair is healthy when I walk out of the salon. I have and always will consider Bangz my salon and Vanessa a friend. I am so grateful to have found a hair stylist who cares about her work and the guests she brings in! No doubt, go with Bangz!!
