Mimi's Nails Salon

I very much DO NOT recommend this salon. I don't go to nail salons often, but I had an event to go to the next day, so I wanted to look nice, and my mom had recommended it to me. I came by for a basic nail polish with French tips, but was told that they could not do a color and a French tip. Instead, they could do a light pink gloss over the nail at the end to make the nail look colored. Though skeptical, I agreed, which I soon regretted. The nail tech filed my nails first, and each one came out a different shape, length, and none of them had straight lines. Then he did the nail tip with white. Afterward, he started on the gloss, which is where I got confused. He tried, unsuccessfully, to do a coat of pink gloss on the part of my nail that didn't have the French tip, and that DID NOT WORK

Really nice place, my wife n daughter. The technician pays attention and are very detailed. Jolyn..I hope I said her name right. Does very exact nail art n design. Both hands resemble each other. The environment is nice, neat appearance. Definitely worth the wait.

This places offers really good prices and decent French tips. I would recommend this place if you’re just getting gel nail polish or just something simple. I would not recommend getting tips as mine came out pretty crooked which is something I asked about during the service but no solution was offered. You can see how crooked my middle finger it is, but luckily I only needed to get one tip as all my other nails were long enough to not need any tips for the length I wanted. Be WARY of getting your cuticles done as well because mine were shaven until several nails bled and they didn’t seem to care at all which is a little disconcerting. You can see a little blood left over on my cuticles. But the overall nails aren’t terrible.

Every time I’m in town I go to Mimi’s! Have for around 10 years! They have amazing prices compared to others, amazing service Got a nice pedicure and this set done last night and I love it! I can not recommend them enough!
