The place was not clean at all. As i was checking out the guy sitting down started talking random prices therefore set prices aren't a thing. Also unfortunately every turn i took something was in my way which is extremely dangerous for those who are bigger in size. -1/10 don't recommend.

I went her last minute because I was unable to go to the Hempstead location which is Soo much better.went for a silk press and a job cut nd waiting forever because since I was black was only able to be seen by the Afro Latina women. Customer service with her was amazing but overall I didn’t get the best reviews on my hair when I went out later that day. I was told my hair could have definetly been straighter and silver(which it defintely can and has been at the Hempstead location) and that I wasted my money within one day my hir was puffed and I would agree they could have done better and my bob was cut unevenly on one side. So for future customers just go to the Hempstead location and stick to that location. I hated paying the same price for mediocre

Two stars because they do know what they are doing. As for fair pricing I wouldn't recommend. If you decide to go here please ask for prices initially and write it down as evidence. Today I got charged more than I paid before. 145 dollars! Plus I am a repeated customer so I should have gotten a discount. But instead she increased the price without my knowing. I think the stylist was hustling money. I will never ever go back to this place

I should have known not to go back there but after being denied service somewhere else, here I was. Last time I was here my long hair was BURNED and I had to cut it all off. Today I returned and was told that they couldn't do my hair the style that I wanted because it was too short. So I asked what were my options. I was told that my hair can't be braided, which is NOT what I asked for. I explained what happened last time I was there and even though she seemed shocked she was not willing to do anything other than putting heat in my hair. I asked if I could be guaranteed that my hair would not be burned again and was not given a straight answer. I was then taken to the Afro-Latina hairdresser (because only blacks can do black hair) and she too was not willing to do my hair. How do you just

DON’T LET IRIS TOUCH YOUR HAIR! After two years of transitioning my hair is ruined. Iris was available that day. I never go to her after she burned my hair several times but the salon was busy. How do I know it was her? Because I only color one section of my hair that grays and that day Iris told me that I needed to color my entire hair. I wasn’t paying attention that permanent color is brushed on and rinse is applied directly from the bottle to the hair. Since then my hair has been falling and breaking. My friend who recommended me to this salon told me that it happened to her. She stopped going there too. Apparently Iris mixes relaxer and color together because she believes Black hair doesn’t take color rinses. She also uses the flat iron and blower hotter on Black hair than Hispanic
