Customer Reviews
I agree with the low ratings. Chelsea good. Michelle was arrogant (bedside manner), did nothing for me on a Saturday in bad weather. She did recommend Xyxal but would not prescribe. Even if out of pocket ok! She explained about washing bed sheets and everything like that, just commen sense. I went to Urgent care(Mercy) on Princeton Rd. Hamilton. I received Dyoxycycline, Atarax and Steriod injection. 8 hours later, I feel GREATLY improved. And do not have to worry about getting STAPH infection all over my body. Again VERY POOR!!!!!!!
Will dismiss you as a patient, cancels all your future appointments and not even directly up front tell you they did so. Front desk clocks out 45 minutes early on random days of the week so don’t be surprised if you can’t reach anyone in the office after 4pm. Sometimes they won’t even answer the phone / call you back if they ARE in the office. They speak to you in a rude and passive aggressive tone, impatient and condescending. Don’t waste your time coming to this practice they aren’t worth the headache.
I was in and out of my appointment in hardly any time at all. It was my first time, as a new patient, and I wanted my skin assessed and a few spots biopsied. I was anxious just because it was a new experience, and honestly what if I had the dreaded c word, but everyone was very pleasant and made me feel welcome. I felt room to talk about my concerns and ask questions without feeling rushed. I also learned new things along the way (yay education!). See you all next year!
Not sure why so many bad reviews, but from working in the medical profession, most people write bad reviews bc they didn’t get what they wanted. Appointment was scheduled in a timely manner considering wait times for specialists can be months, office was nice, wait time was normal, the receptionist and nurse were both great, checkin to phone calls to get a prescription sent elsewhere was done quickly. The NP Chelsea was great and knowledgeable and very nice. I have nothing but a positive experience for a 1st visit.
Absolutely awful experience. I was referred to this office from my PCP, and I am regretting ever considering going to a dermatologist at all after that experience. Firstly, the office is tiny, old, and poorly lit. A very dark and unwelcoming atmosphere. I had to wait for 45 minutes before being seen. The front desk attendant was inconsiderate, unprofessional, and not interested at all in serving customers. The nurse practitioner I spoke with was not thorough. As soon as I began describing my symptoms, they immediately jumped to the conclusion that it was caused by allergies and that I must have thyroid issues. That was the entire conversation. It lasted maybe 5 minutes, and surprise, surprise, this nurse practitioner was way off the mark on any of my skin symptoms being caused by allerg
