Atmosphere is decent. They don’t fancy walk-ins at all. In fact, when I was there I witnessed just 3 people come in for walk-ins and they did everything they could to basically turn them away. One was a truck driver and it was his only day off for over the next week, and he politely kept saying he’d wait. The main barber in the front chair kept emphasizing how swamped they were like they couldn’t handle the load. Meanwhile, no one was waiting for the girl who took me with my appt. They also don’t seem to look ahead at their appt logs. I made my appt 3 days prior and they sort of acted like they couldn’t find it and started acting like it was a huge deal. Then they found it and everything seemed right in the world. Hair cut wasn’t perfect. A bit off kilter and I politely mentioned it but

Brought my son here and they did a fantastic job on his haircut! Tried a bunch of other places who never got it right. We will be coming back here for sure!

Mick's is best barber shop in the region, and a family business full of history. Everyone that works there is wonderful, and masters of their hair cutting craft!! ✂️💈

I went as a walk-in. No appointment and was taken right away. Three barbers on duty. Very reasonable prices and a great cut.

If you are a carnival worker, do not come here for services. They will over charge you, for a subpar haircut. I even mentioned that I'm a veteran, and that didn't change the price at all. I went in for a beard trim/line up, and had them clean up my eyebrows (no haircut). I was charged $40. Now because I'm not a monster, and on the off chance that was the actual price, I tipped another $5. I later found out, that I was in fact grossly overcharged. I do believe this is specific to Carnival workers, not the general public. Do better guys..
