I was so happy to have finally found a black hair salon in Gainesville, GA. Michelle Said that she had time between her next appointment and she took me in , my service was a super quick. Michelle washed my hair and did 4 braids back of my natural hair, which is short. I was in and out in 15 minutes total. Then She did something that I couldn't even believe was happening, she charged me $70.00 for a service that stylist charge $25, $30 at most for. My daughter's saw how much she charged me and they even said Mama that was way too much, she is so wrong for that. I was so disheartened, I couldn't even believe that she was charging me that much. I'm sharing this review because it was not ethically right how she overcharged me, and also so that this doesn't happen to anyone else. Make sure you

Bad business lady argues with costumers mean and don't say we need our hair done meanwhile you got a wig on .and don't come for my mom! You robber! Don't even bother to reply that's how you lose your business. 70 $ unbelievable,and don't talk about my family cause now we have a problem! And she threatened my mom saying she hopes she loses her Mary Kay business! . And called her wiggly and she which was a very rude and unprofessional. Real good business ladys don't do do that

I have known Michelle all her life and know her to be a reliable and consistently wonderful beautician and businesswoman! I came out of braids last week, called on Michelle! She did a beautiful style for me and it is lasting! She was referred by my niece and now I have my next appointment, along with my great granddaughter! Trusting Michelle as our stylist is an honor!

I called to asked if there was a website or social media for the business and when she picked up the phone she just said “Hello”. There was no way for me to confirm I was calling the actual “salon” without asking. She said I don’t have social media or a website and didn’t offer any way for me to find more information and quickly ended the conversation. I really appreciate the professionalism! Myself and multiple family members have been looking for a solid stylist but it’s clear it’s not here! Next!
