Michael's Hair Studio

I have very short hair and needed a trim. My usual salon closed down and Michael's was the closest to where I live. The trim was okay but it definitely wasn't worth the $55 he charged! My fault for not asking price beforehand.

I’ve had such bad experiences with hair cuts and have never been “in love” with a cut until I went to Michael. He’s hand down the BEST. We chatted about how he’s constantly furthering his education when it comes to hair/cosmetology and that is everything in that field as new/better techniques and products come into place. Lovely shop, such a comfortable, cool atmosphere and great vibes! Big thanks to Michael for the best hair cut I’ve ever had!

Michael gave me the haircut I needed and a style that I had not considered. I am so happy that I now have a style that works wonderfully with my natural waves and curls. All I have to do is wash my hair, apply a little product, and let it dry naturally. Thank you, Michael, for the great hair and renewing my love affair with Chris Isaac's music.

Michael is a prominent hairstylist/barber in downtown Charleston. He takes his craft to the highest level. For the latest color and hairstyles he is the only one I trust . you will be disappointed .

This shop was around the corner from my work, so I stopped by to have my bangs trimmed. I thought the shop itself was cozy with a lot of personality, and the man who trimmed my hair (I assume the owner!) was friendly and did a great job. I’ll definitely stop by again.
