Hi this Vidor Merle Norman. This is in regards to Deana Findley review recently. She was extremely upset that we would not return a reduced price eye shadow. It is against our store policy to return sale items. She called to say her husband did not like the color after she applied it. Samples were shown to her before purchasing it. We have it posted several places in the store about our sale items returns. So sorry that she was upset. Merle Norman has an online website that we invite her to use.

I’ve done business with Merle Norman in Vidor for years but not anymore. Yesterday I purchased several things from her n for the first time I needed to return the eyeshadow she sold me. She told me to keep trying it I’d like it. I told her my friend asked me if my eyes were purple n my husband says it looks terrible. I used it lightly as I’m fair with green eyes n she told me they make green eyes pop. She refused to take it back saying it was on sale which I’m suspicious about because she said she couldn’t print out a receipt yesterday. I told her after all these years I just wouldn’t return. Stay away, if you want customer satisfaction go somewhere else.

This location was hired to provide make up services for a bride and bridal party for a wedding March 15, 2025. On March 11 the lady that was hired canceled on us. She claimed she was sick. When asked about a refund, we got the run around until today, March 13th, when the refund was received in person because she refused to do it any other way. When we met the lady for the refund, she was smiling and happy, far from sick. This is straight bad business. Who does this and doesn't offer a solution to the bride? In no way, shape, or form would I ever recommend this business.

Worst Merle Norman in the Southeast Texas area. The owner thinks she fools customers into thinking her 20% off sale is something special...she raises her product prices so you are not saving anything. She will not honor Merle Norman’s policies including the free gift with a 2 item purchase. She also refuses to accept Merle Norman gift cards purchased at other locations. The owner said, “it cuts too much into my profit”. The owner is rude, unprofessional, and does not know the products at all. On more than one occasion, the owner has mentioned her profit margin to different customers. Save yourself some time, money, and headache...go to the Orange location.
