I find the last review from Trevor interesting, since he said that Carlos spoke little while focusing on his art - and his haircuts are art. My roommate just returned from his second cut, totally different from the first - unless you specify what you want, you get the creation Carlos is in the mood for. When I I had my last cut Carlos was a fascinating conversationalist and I would recommend him not only for his artistic approach to cutting men's hair but I would recommend engaging him on his world experience and viewpoints. Wow! The proprietor seated me precisely on time and immediately began a thorough assessment. He determined scope and placement of my cowlicks, texture of my hair, head shape and state of most recent cut -- he basically went on a recon mission before forming a strategy. In simple terms, he walked me through what he was about to go. Carlos is highly observant and quite skilled. I look forward to another touch-down in the area for another exceptional haircut.
