My mother-in-law and I had our hair done last month, we were on a day trip to NYC (from VA) and we decided to get our hair done because I found that our Asian/South Asian hair stylist are more comfortable with our kinda hair than the foreign ones. The lady (unfortunately I forgot the name) did a great job with both our hair. My mother in law has really long and gorgeous hair and she took care of it efficiently without reducing the length and still gave her a front layer as requested. Everyone liked my layer cut and it completely changed my look! I spend way more money in VA and I kid you not they never get it done right cause they're not good with virgin-black and textured hair. If you want nice brows, go during the weekends. I always go to the elder Nepali lady (she does her work by the window) and she’s so sweet and is very precise with my brows. If it weren’t for her, I would’ve stopped going to this salon. She’s saving the salon with her skills tbh.

The lady who cuts hair was so rude and not cooperative. She was Bengali and did not talk about the pricing and length properly. She was trying to fight and argue. I asked for long layers but I don’t know what she did. She messed up my hair. I wanted to show her what type of haircut I want like inspo and she did not wanted to see the haircut and said I know what you want. At first she said haircuts are from $35 then I bargained and made it $30 then when she saw my hair she was saying it’s too long I can’t do it for $35 and was yelling. Then when I was about to leave she was like okay come I’ll do it but Im not gonna do anything else like drying or nothing. My hair was wet from the water and she literally cut my hair like in 5 minutes and I don’t even know what she did. Worst salon ever!! 0/

Worst customer service ever. The beauticians especially Kenjal's sister (Gujarati lady) and a nepali lady (who works 6 days a week) are very unfriendly and rude. When I went to get my brows done, a nepali lady told me that my brows have grown like a forest and I should get my brows done every two weeks and the Gujati lady did not let me use the bathroom (earlier they allowed) and when I was getting my hair fixed before leaving, she thought that I was about to use the bathroom and again told me that there is no bathroom in a very rude way. Never visit that place. I am a regular customer and will never go there again. The ladies do not know how to treat their customers. I am a regular customer but will never go there again.

Such a horrible experience with one of the incompetent beauticians here. She was doing my brows and slit a part of the skin on my eye lid. Not to mention other unsanitary practices here such as dipping the wax stick into a common wax pot(over and over again). When i initially stopped the beautician because i felt pain, she continued to guide me through the brow process. This mistake was created due to malpractice and negligence as she was in a hurry to take the next customer. This place needs a sanitation inspection asap. Will never take service from here again.
